Goniometer for high-precision optical angle measurements

PrismMaster® goniometers are used for high-precision optical angle measurements on prisms, polygons and wedges. PrismMaster 300 HR Precision Goniometer

When accuracy really matters, there is no alternative to the PrismMaster® 300 HR. With an accuracy of 0.25 arc seconds, it remains the world’s most accurate angle measurement device for prisms.

  • Outstanding absolute accuracy achieved in a single measurement

  • Measurement of a large variety of samples including microprisms with a minimum sample size of 1.5 mm²

  • Ultra-stable and accurate rotary air bearing

Highly flexible goniometer for quality control
PrismMaster® Flex

The PrismMaster® Flex is a flexible and versatile configurable goniometer with a modular product concept.

  • Fast and easy quality control of prisms and plano optics in optics manufacturing

  • Three configuration levels: PrismMaster® Flex, 1D and 2D

  • Measurement in reflection for outer prism angles and in transmission for deflection angles

  • Basic configuration as comparison goniometer for production-related quality testing of prisms and plano optics, measurement times of less than 1 sec per sample

  • Configuration levels “1D” and “2D” for angle measurement in absolute values up to measurement of spatial angular relationships

  • Up to two additional (auto-)collimators as options for all configuration levels

  • Mechanical ball bearing, no compressed air required

Software

PrismMaster® Software

Measuring Process of a Standard Sample

There is no easier way of achieving an immediate and ultra-accurate angle value of plano-optic components. The new software provides fully automated measurement of standard prisms and polygons:

  • Prism Configurator for the easy definition of non-standard and compound prisms

  • Software-automated sample tilt compensation (emulated tilt table) for quick and precise measurement of prism angles and pyramidal errors without laborious adjustments

  • Input of tolerance ranges and pass/fail classifications

  • Evaluation, display and recording of the measurement results according to ISO
