CamTest Smart enables the testing of all essential image quality features of camera modules in only one device.
The increasing use of camera systems for safety-relevant and automated object recognition and classification, e.g. in the field of security & surveillance as well as in the automotive industry (keyword: autonomous driving and driver assistance systems), leads to new and higher requirements for the characterization of image quality and the assembly of camera modules. The entire test chain for optical systems, sensor components and complete camera systems must also meet these new requirements. TRIOPTICS offers the appropriate technologies for this and benefits from its many years of experience in optical testing technology, which it supplements with new measuring systems.
In this context, TRIOPTICS has developed a new 100% test system for all essential image quality features of camera modules: CamTest Smart.
It is a very compact system that integrates all test parameters in only one device. In addition, it is flexible in its design and thus in the selection of the necessary measuring chambers. The CamTest Focus or CamTest MTF as well as CamTest Chart and CamTest Spectral measuring chambers can be integrated.
Therefore, in addition to the common optical and opto-mechanical parameters such as MTF, SFR, defocusing, tilting and rotation of the image plane as well as optical distortion, the system also covers additional sensor test parameters such as OECF, dynamic range, white balance, relative illumination, spectral sensitivity and more.
